What Warranty or Guarantee are you being offered?

2 Years? 5 Years? 10 Years?
Or Even a Lifetime Warranty is being offered by Other Companies.

The latest trick is to offer a warranty that sounds really good, like 10 years or Lifetime, but they DO NOT include the call out fees or labour cost. Unless you pay them the call out fee, those parts under warranty won’t get repaired or swapped. So make sure you ask the questions, what does the warranty or guarantee cover and what part do you have to pay for.

Another Trick is that they tell you that their slats and tracks are German made. This is an outright lie. No company brings in German made slats into this country.

Here are some helpful tips when comparing quotes.

If they only have a mobile number, they are a back yarder. It’s too easy to disconnect a mobile number and disappear.
Ask to see their factory, this weeds out the 3rd Party sellers and back yarders.
Make sure they are a registered Business and have an ABN Number.
Make sure you get a written quote, not just a price on the back of a business card.
Never be fooled into (this is a today only price). If they are a reputable business, their offer will be held for at least 30 days.
Any sales person that takes 1.5 hours or more to do a presentation on roller shutters is trying to wear you down to make a sale.
Get any promises in writing. Sales people will say anything to get your money.
Beware of the companies advertising on TV or Radio nothing is for free, or it sounds to good to be true, 99.9% of the time, it isn’t.

REMEMBER: You have a 10 Day Cooling off period (LAW) with any company that comes to your home to sell you shutters, don’t be frightened to use it if you feel your being ripped off or paying to much for the shutters by any company coming into your home.
